BALLYCASTLE CHURCH ACTION

... (BCA) was established after a Faithworks conference held in Limavady 2005. Faithworks is an organisation comprised of various churches across the Christian faith, seeking to serve their local community and promote positive social change. From the Faithworks conference, some local clergy and people motivated by their faith were challenged to reach into their community to meet a local need with local resources. This lead to the beginning of BCA. BCA is represented across three of the main dominations, and some people serve in a personal capacity from churches not represented in the town. The project also has close links with Corrymeela.
